The Mirror Between Keeper and Spirit

Every spirit keeper carries a signature vibration - a living, breathing field of energy that communicates more loudly than words ever could. This field, often called the aura, is the bridge between you, people or  the beings drawn to your care. If you are the keeper of a haunted doll, whether it is possessed by a human spirit, by an elemental being, an angelic, or a demonic spirit, your aura acts both as a signal and a language. It basically tells the spirit who you really are, where you've been and what you're ready to learn next in your journey.

Understanding your aura isn't just about colour or meanings - it's about knowing your very soul's story, through energy alone, like my granny Irina used to say. This invisible current determines the kind of spirits, energies, or lessons that find their way in your life.

In this month of November, we will dive deeper into this subject which is slightly overlooked in my opinion, when it comes to Spirit Keeping. So get your seat ready, and let us explore this as we should!

The Aura as a Memory Field

To begin with, auric field is not static light - any true reader can attest to this. It is a living memory field, shifting, and expanding or even shrinking with every physical, emotional, mental pattern or spiritual transformation. Each layer of your aura holds imprints - echoes of who you've been, what you've healed, and what you're still working through.

However, not all layers are permanent. The outermost layers of the aura change frequently - they can shift colour depending on your mood, stress, current health condition, or current spiritual state. This is why reading someone's aura at a single sight or based on a single photograph is misleading. To truly understand a person's energy, one must observe them across months, even years - to notice the shade that never fades, the one that returns to stay even when emotion or health goes through changes.

That persistent hue is your true aura, your karmic aura - the deep, stable vibration that carries the essence of your spiritual form and identity across lifetimes.

The Karmic Aura: Where Memory and Destiny Meet

At the very center of the auric field lies the karmic core, a radiant pulse of memory and destiny intertwined. This colour tells the story of how far your soul has come - according to its origins, the lessons you've already mastered, the emotional thresholds you've broken through, and what still awaits healing or integration. 

Your karmic aura is not only a record of past lives but also a map for this incarnation. It shows your tendencies, strengths, weaknesses, and where your soul seeks balance or signals need for guidance. This signal is also what spirits recognise when they find you.

We've seen Spirit calling on us multiple times, in all sorts of ways, when adopting or simply coming across one. Every spirit keeper, especially after receiving more than one call, can swear by the fact that when spirits, especially high level ones choose a keeper, they don't do so randomly.

Higher level spirits read our karmic aura, that core frequency we all bear, regardless of time and space - and understand instinctively where they can be of service. They see our spiritual landscape the way one might see a constellation: bright in some areas, shadowed in others, as I was told. Their pull towards you is a form of resonance, to their abilities or purpose. They come to assist in balancing, strengthening or awakening aspects of your field that need evolution.

Thus, is safe to say that the relationship between spirit and keeper is vibrationally predestined, not all but most of them! Basically your aura calls out, their energy responds.

How the Aura Shapes Spirit Attraction

Just as certain frequencies attract one another, specific aura colours resonate with different spirit types. Here are some common patterns seen among experienced keepers:

Aura Colour & Spirits Most Drawn to it:

Blue - Empathetic, Healers, Ancient Spirits, Water Elementals, Sorrowful Humans Seeking Comfort, Child Spirits

Violet - Mystical, Highly Magical, Witches of Lineage, Ethereal Beings, Astral Mentors, Dream & Skin Walkers, Vampiric Beings, Religious Archetypes

Green - Nurturing, Gentle Souls, Earth Elementals, Luck & Kitchen Witches, Doctors, Spiritual Coaches

Red - Passionate Spirits, Courageous Supportive Spirits, Warriors, Fire Elementals

Black or Deep Gray - Hidden Wisdom Keepers, Shadow Workers, Dark & Liminal Witches, Karmic Cleansers, Guardians, Lower Vibrational Spirits, Justice & Retribution Souls

White or Silver - Spirits in Transition, Higher Vibrational Spirits, Channels Cleansers, Guides, Enlightened Beings

This, just to name a few, as an example. It is important to know however, that these tendencies aren't fixed -  they are reflections of resonance. As you aura evolves, temporarily or permanently - so too may the spirits who are drawn to you. 

How to Read and Strengthen Your Own Aura

If you wish to observe and understand you aura more deeply:

Cleansing Rituals - Regularly cleanse your aura inside out by figuring our what is your Dominant Sound. Dominant Sound is what gets the chakras going, and it should reveal to you effortlessly - without thinking or logic. Not only it should reveal to you without effort, but it should also feel very calming to chant repetitively. For example mine is ''Aaa'' - as I am considered an Initiator, a Guide. For others ''Mmm'' works just nice, but it is up to you to discover. After finding your Dominant Sound, you may then sit cross legged and just chant it for a minimum of 21 times to restore or cleanse your chakras - as this will be the safest and easiest way to cleanse your aura from the inside.

To cleanse your auric field from the outside you may do so with incense, bath salts or water dips, as this helps to keep temporary energies from clouding your vibration as well as your karmic colour. 

Meditate on Sensation

Sit quietly and feel where your body feels warmest or most vibrant. This very sensation will reveal your dominant auric colour's energy.

Observe Over Time

Repeat the process above each time before taking photographs of the same spot where you feel most vibrant. Do so for at least a couple of months, and take the photos in natural light. Stare in a fixed white spot with semi - opened eyes, then turn your glance gently over the photographs. Repeat and compare them, noting which hue always remains, as that is your karmic core.

Work with Your Spirits

If you already have spirit companions, there's no one better to ask which colours they perceive, because they see these effortlessly. This is where I recommend journaling, as you may ask them on a daily basis, and look over the trends of a month or two. If the spirits are High Level, they might already know you original auric colour, and the best ways to restore it or enhance it.

The Keeper's Role in Auric Evolution

Being a spirit keeper is not just about housing spirits - is about becoming the kind of soul whose energy allows for nurture, restoration, and who can and is willing to sustain other souls. The spirits who answer your call do so because they see your potential and wish to help refine it, or could use your help to refine theirs. These are and will always be the sole two categories of souls who can be found in Keep.

So as you evolve emotionally and spiritually, your aura refines too - old karmic colours may brighten or blend with new hues, while the overall shape of your karmic field will strengthen, expand and correct. Spirits often step forward in harmony with this transformation. It is a dynamic partnership where both keeper and spirit grow through mutual reflection.

The Light That Speaks Without Words

Every spirit keeper's journey begins with energy - with light, memory and intention. Your aura is not merely an ornament of light - it is a living biography. It remembers every emotion, thought and lifetime you have walked through. It is both, your fingerprint and your prophecy. And when a spirit gazes at you - whether through the glass eyes of a haunted doll or the silent draft of an elemental's presence, they are not seeing just your face. They are reading your light.

Your aura tells them where to stand beside you, even better than you could.
